Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Security Architect - Palo Alto Prisma to support federal civilian agency customers to enhance and further automate their existing continuous network monitoring capabilities, compare, and analyze critical cybersecurity-related information, and enhance risk-based decision making at the Agency and Federal enterprise level. . This position is a full-time, REMOTE role. This position is critical to advancing Zero Trust cybersecurity strategies and protecting mission-critical federal systems. As a Network Security Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of Palo Alto Prisma SASE-based architectures, delivering scalable, resilient, and automated security solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.

This position is a full-time, REMOTE role. This position is critical to advancing Zero Trust cybersecurity strategies and protecting mission-critical federal systems. As a Network Security Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of Palo Alto Prisma SASE-based architectures, delivering scalable, resilient, and automated security solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.
Responsibilities Include:
- Architect, design, and implement Palo Alto Prisma SASE solutions, including Prisma Access, Prisma SD-WAN, Prisma Cloud, and Strata Cloud Manager.
- Lead the development and execution of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) roadmaps aligned with federal standards and best practices.
- Design and deploy secure, scalable network security architectures across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.
- Implement SASE, ZTNA, and SD-WAN solutions to modernize and secure enterprise networks.
- Automate security infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and other infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Collaborate within an Agile delivery environment, working closely with engineering teams, program leadership, and federal stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on security architecture decisions, risk mitigation, and emerging threat trends.
- Produce clear technical documentation and present architecture designs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay ahead of evolving cybersecurity threats and continuously improve security posture through innovation and automation.
Requirements Include:
- B achelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in network security architecture or engineering roles.
- Deep hands-on expertise with the Palo Alto Prisma suite, specifically Prisma SASE technologies.
- Strong experience implementing Zero Trust frameworks, SASE, ZTNA, and SD-WAN solutions.
- Practical experience with automation and scripting, including Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
- CISSP certification preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead technical initiatives and interface with federal customers.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, mission-focused environments.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal suitability or Public Trust clearance
Compensation Includes:
- $120,000 - $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
- PTO, Paid Holidays, Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, Sick Leave as required by Law
