Description:This Enterprise Operations position supports the DarkStar Enterprise network, delivering secure, mission-critical IT capabilities to collateral Secret programs across the enterprise. As a Systems Administrator, you will play a direct role in enabling national security objectives by ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of classified infrastructure used by critical programs.
This is a hands-on position focused on resolving technical challenges across applications, systems, and network connectivity within a classified environment. You will be part of a high-performing team responsible for maintaining and defending enterprise IT systems that operate in complex, security-constrained environments.
The selected candidate will administer and support Linux and/or Windows systems, network components, and storage platforms. Responsibilities include system installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure continuous availability of mission systems.
You will actively contribute to Information Assurance efforts by performing vulnerability scans, remediating security findings, applying patches, and implementing system hardening in compliance with stringent security requirements. Additionally, you will ensure all enterprise assets and software are properly tracked, controlled, and audit-ready.
Working alongside engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and program stakeholders, you will support system integration, upgrades, and sustainment activities across the full system lifecycle. You will help resolve incidents, execute changes, and improve operational processes that directly impact mission success.
This is an Onsite role, and can be located in one of the following locations:
- King of Prussia, PA
- Huntsville, AL
- Littleton, CO
- Sunnyvale, CA
- Titusville, FL
This role operates on a 4x10 schedule and may include off-shift hours, weekends, and occasional travel in support of mission needs.
Basic Qualifications:
- US Citizenship (no dual citizenship), with Ability and willingness to obtain Top Secret Clearance
- Demonstrated work experience with system administration in one or more areas: Linux, Windows, networking, or storage
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in an IT environment
- Familiarity with system maintenance activities such as patching, updates, and configuration management
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, routing, etc.)
- Experience supporting users and resolving hardware/software issues
- Ability to follow established processes for incident, change, and problem management
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Desired Skills:
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance
- At least 2 years of experience administering Linux and/or Windows server environments
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, or similar)
- Experience with storage systems (e.g., NetApp or similar platforms)
- Knowledge of Active Directory, domain services, and Windows/Linux integration
- Experience with system hardening, vulnerability scanning, and remediation practices
- Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible)
- Scripting experience (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
- Experience working in classified or air-gapped environments
- Familiarity with encryption technologies (SSL/TLS) and certificate management

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
