Position Summary
Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst supporting financial operations in Doral, FL in support of United States Southern Command . The Senior Financial Analyst will lead financial operations and perform complex financial analysis in support of strategic planning, program execution, and decision-making. This role serves as a key advisor to leadership on financial and budgetary matters across multiple projects.

Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Lead financial operations and coordinate complex financial analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Develop financial controls, procedures, and forecasting techniques to evaluate program status and ensure compliance with government requirements
- Analyze program costs, identify trends, and provide recommendations for cost savings and efficiency improvements
- Create and implement strategic approaches for monitoring and reporting financial performance across multiple projects
- Oversee preparation of complex financial and administrative reports for leadership and stakeholders
- Plan and lead major financial assignments, evaluate performance results, and recommend improvements
- Serve as a technical expert supporting multiple project efforts simultaneously
- Provide guidance and oversight to junior financial personnel as needed
- Act as the primary point of contact for leadership on all financial and accounting matters

Qualifications

Years of Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DoD financial management processes, including PPBE (Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution)
- Familiarity with DoD financial systems such as DEAMS, GFEBS, or similar ERP/accounting systems
- Experience supporting budget execution, financial tracking, and funds control in a government environment
- Understanding of financial compliance requirements, audit readiness, and reporting standards within DoD organizations
- Experience working with or supporting Combatant Commands or large DoD organizations
