Testing Specialist

Job Description:
As a Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software products before they are released to customers. This role involves conducting various tests, identifying bugs and issues, and providing feedback to the development team for improvements. You will need to have a strong understanding of testing methodologies and be able to work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the testing process.
To excel in this role, you should have experience working with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and Zephyr. Familiarity with these tools will help streamline the testing process and ensure that all aspects of the software are thoroughly evaluated. Additionally, having a background in software development or quality assurance will be beneficial in understanding the intricacies of the testing process and communicating with the development team.

Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
- Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software quality and functionality.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve application performance.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains intact after updates.
- Validate that software meets business and technical requirements.
- Provide detailed reports on testing activities, results, and recommendations.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and testing strategies.
