- Experience in emergency management program management.
- Experience in contingency preparedness and response.
- Experience in participating or leading in drills/exercises.
- Experience utilizing working knowledge of Emergency Operation Center functions.
- Experience making critical decisions under high-stress situations.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office suite applications.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

This position is eligible for ad-hoc/situational telework at the discretion of management.
- You will develop, implement and manage a comprehensive emergency management (EM) program for Installation Commanders and all tenant activities and other areas when designated by Regional Headquarters.
- You will be the staff advisor to Installation Commanding Officer, for all emergency management matters.
- You will serve as the Installation emergency management for preparation, response, recovery and mitigation to both natural and man-made disasters.
- You will coordinate emergency management training support for installation/tenants through the chairing of Emergency Management working groups and attendance/participation in all other applicable working groups.
- You will draft policy statements for Commanding Officer's approval providing guidance to the Emergency Operation Center (EOC) and first responders in the event of an emergency.
