FORWARD ECM ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN FSR
Provide intermediate maintenance at overseas locations for the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) portfolio of ECM, CUAS and companion systems, and will provide technical assistance to the USSOCOM FOSOV FSR and USSOCOM personnel. This position requires a TOP SECRET clearance to start.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible to performing direct support maintenance on ECM systems received from the region's Reparable Exchange/Direct Exchange (RX/DX) site.
- Repair, upgrade, and calibrate ECM systems, end items, and components at the Intermediate level of Depot maintenance.
- Maintain accountability for all assigned property, to include items retrieved from the RX/DX site. Monitor quantity of operational floats at the RX/DX site by model number, as well as items returned to SOFSA for depot maintenance.
- Maintain stock levels for repair parts, whether accountable or consumable, based upon demand history and lead time. Monitor stock levels of A-Kit items maintained at the RX/DX site for consumption by FOSOV FSRs and unit members.
- Maintain records for all items repaired, parts consumed, and disposition of unserviceable items.
- Monitor and report in accordance with PMCP Fielding, Integration and Training Government Lead with on the modification of platforms that affect installed SOF ECM systems, particularly at deployed locations.
- Provide a report to the Senior Supervisory ECM FSR with trip details and lessons learned within two weeks of returning from training events.
- Report on a weekly basis to the Senior Supervisory ECM FSR on quantity and type of items repaired, items awaiting repair, and trend analysis.
- Provide operator and organizational level training to FOSOV FSRs and USSOCOM personnel.
- Schedule trips and coordinate travel to deployed units, whether via ground, rotary wing air, or fixed wing air platforms.
- Develop specific training plans, quick reference guides, and troubleshooting techniques for ECM systems on deployed mobility platforms.
- Maintain a library of standard and non-standard mobility platform configurations, modification work orders, A-Kit part numbers, and other supporting data such as interoperability issues with Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems.
- Upon request the FSR will provide capability briefings to unit leadership on the USSOCOM ECM portfolio and unofficial unit ECM readiness assessments.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Formal training in ECM system installation, operations, maintenance, and repair; operation of diagnostic equipment; and troubleshooting of complex systems.
- Formal training with maintaining and upgrading software-defined electronic systems, to include installing firmware, software, and changing configurations.
- More than five years' experience performing direct support maintenance on ECM and/or tactical communications equipment. This includes testing via Automated Test Equipment and Manually via Signal Generator and Analyzer test equipment.
- Experience with maintenance records, such as inspection worksheets, maintenance requests, equipment registers, etc., whether manual or electronic.
- Experience with property accountability records, such as hand receipts, turn-in documents, shipping documents, etc., whether manual or electronic.
- Must have experience working in a deployed environment with minimal life support conditions for extended duration in support of DoD or other US Government elements
- Must be capable of being medically cleared to deploy in hostile areas for up to 330 days and capable of operating independently, traveling alone, and fulfilling all assigned tasks with little supervision
- Must be capable of lifting equipment to a height of 40" and, without assistance, carrying equipment (weighing up to 100 lbs.) up to 50 feet
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- The primary place of performance is at Fort Bragg, NC and up to 330 days per year OCONUS at various locations
- OCONUS workdays are generally 12-hours in duration, seven days a week
