This position requires an Active Secret Clearance. Candidates who do not hold this clearance are not eligible for hire.

We are looking for a versatile Help Desk Analyst/System Administrator to join a small team supporting users of an external-facing application. This role blends hands-on support, system administration, and light development work. The ideal candidate is comfortable diagnosing and resolving technical issues independently, including database updates, permissions fixes, and application configuration changes. While code changes are handled by the development team, this role will submit detailed tickets and, when workload allows, contribute to small development tasks.

Day in the life:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming application support and helpdesk requests.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues including permissions, database updates, and functionality issues.
  • Perform system administration tasks across application environments and user management platforms.
  • Document resolutions, update knowledge bases, and ensure consistent support processes.
  • Create and submit detailed dev-ready tickets for items requiring code changes.
  • Take on small development tasks or enhancements when helpdesk demand is low.
  • Collaborate closely with development, security, and product teams to maintain smooth operations.


Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Security+ (CompTIA Security+) certification
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR an Associate's Degree and 5 years of relevant experience, OR 7 years of relevant experience with no degree
  • US Citizenship
  • 3-4 years of experience in a helpdesk, IT support, or system administration role
  • Demonstrated ability to perform routine helpdesk requests including but not limited to database updates, permission changes, account creations, certificate issues, etc
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly diagnose system issues
  • Experience working with ticketing systems and documenting technical work clearly
  • Experience with application log analysis and monitoring tools
  • A cultural fit within a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to shared goals


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Python, PowerShell, or another scripting language
  • Familiarity with software development workflows (Git, branching, code review)
  • Basic understanding of APIs or application integration concepts
  • Exposure to cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or similar)
  • Prior experience working with product or application support teams


Benefit selection, customer contractual specifications, relevant work experience, skills, competencies, certifications, and clearance status will influence the final salary

Full benefits: $110,000 to $137,000 annually

Reduced benefits (no medical, dental, vision): Up to $149,000 annually
