The Middleware Team Lead - (Sr. Web Software Developer) will lead the engineering and administration of middleware and mid-tier environments. This will include application and web servers, while ensuring availability, performance, security compliance, monitoring, and deployment support.

Responsibilities:
  • Leads the engineering and administration of middleware and mid-tier environments

  • Ensures availability, performance, security compliance, monitoring, and deployment support

Required Qualifications/Education and Experience:
  • Must have and maintain a Secret Clearance
  • Three or more years enterprise app server architecture; IIS/Tomcat/WebLogic; SOAP/REST; Java or C#; UNIX/Windows admin
  • Three or more years' experience with Application Server architecture in a large enterprise environment
  • Knowledge of Internet Information Services (IIS), Apache Tomcat (TOMCAT), Apache, Java, WebLogic, WebSphere, or similar class server systems
  • Knowledge of Web Services, both Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) and Representational State Transfer (REST)
  • Knowledge of Extensible Markup Language (XML) is required
  • Knowledge of Document Type Definition (DTD), Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLT), Xerces and Xalan is a plus
  • Must possess a familiarity of the Java or C# programming languages to assist developers in debugging applications
  • Knowledge of the Oracle Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) and the SQL Server RDBMS is a plus
  • Knowledge of UNIX and Windows administrations skills
  • Knowledge of Python and PowerShell is a plus
  • The ability to relate to customers in a professional manner
  • Experience in Computer Science or IT

Preferred Qualifications/Education and Experience.
  • Working knowledge of DoD STIGs, and IAVM
