Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality Manager to support the Precision Strike team in Saint Charles, MO!
The Senior Quality Manager will be responsible for establishing and sustaining the weapons quality strategy across programs, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and contractual requirements. This leader will drive quality objectives, manage risk, approve technical dispositions, and drive root-cause corrective actions for complex issues. They will serve as a primary quality escalation point to program leadership and customer stakeholders, and influences design-for-quality decisions throughout the product lifecycle.

Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees and first-level managers performing quality engineering and technical activities on or in support of programs through all phases of the product lifecycle
- Develops quality strategies and plans in support of new business acquisition and execution of program/business plans
- Provides education and coaching on the Quality System
- Acquires and manages resources, provides quality technical management and leads performance improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports
- Oversees review of technical information to ensure quality and producibility
- Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 5+ years of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)
- 5+ years of experience communicating and/or coaching operators, peers and leadership on various aspects of a quality system (associated with engineering or quality)
- 5+ years of experience with Nonconformance Management (NCM)
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- 3+ years' experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
- Experience developing or working with compliance processes and/or controls
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience with team building, developing and motivating employees
- 3+ years of experience working with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and Department of Defense (DOD) contracts
- 3+ years of experience leading key process, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
