Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide critical systems engineering and technical assistance to the US Army SMDC in support of long-range missile flight test planning and execution. This role will contribute to the development of advanced hypersonic weapon systems and nuclear-capable missile systems, playing a vital role in our national defense.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide critical systems engineering and technical assistance to the US Army SMDC in support of long-range missile flight test planning and execution. This role will contribute to the development of advanced hypersonic weapon systems and nuclear-capable missile systems, playing a vital role in our national defense.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide systems engineer technical assistance support as a weapons systems subject matter expert (SME) to the US Army SMDC in support of missile flight test planning and execution efforts.
- Serve as the primary SME for cruise missiles and other advanced missile systems, providing critical technical analysis and strategic guidance on system performance, capabilities, and operational deployment to support program objectives.
- Provide flight test engineering expertise to advanced hypersonic weapon system development.
- Provide systems engineering support to the development and testing of nuclear-capable missile systems.
- Lead and participate in flight test planning, test execution, data collection, and data distribution.
- Serve as a test director for missile test events.
- Coordinate and provide requirements for test ranges, test assets, and participants across the defense customer community.
- Prepare countdown checklists, supporting test planning products, and coordinate analysis activities.
- Develop program-level integrated master schedules to include weapon system development activities, logistic activities, and mission execution events.
- Interface with other governments and range organizations and development contractors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or other technical degree.
- 15+ years of related experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office to include MS Project.
- Experience serving as a Test Director and performing on-console operations.
- Experience in the development process of complex weapon systems to include both missile and launcher systems.
- Must possess an active Secret security clearance. A Top Secret security clearance is preferred.
