The organization publishes scientific content, organizes conferences and events, and offers programs that foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing across academia, industry, and government sectors.

Salary: $100,000 - $112,000/ yr. w2

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
  • Create and execute an eCommerce strategy for career services and products to drive revenue.
  • Develop expo marketing campaigns to increase booth, advertising, and sponsorship sales, coordinating prospectus and sales collateral with events teams.
  • Partner with web teams to improve discoverability of sponsorship products and optimize exhibitor conversion and engagement.
  • Support event marketing across tradeshows, media partnerships, and advertiser strategies, aligning materials with sales goals and providing onsite conference support.
  • Collaborate with marketing technology and operations to build systems that capture and interpret eCommerce behavior patterns.
  • Build an always-on marketing plan with positioning, messaging, and creative to drive consistent product interest and traffic, including new feature announcements.
  • Monitor and analyze data and revenue performance, define KPIs, map progress to goals, and adjust tactics to drive demand, conversion, and repeat sales.
  • Design and run experiments to understand demand and conversion drivers and coordinate launches with internal teams.
  • Lead bi-weekly stakeholder meetings to present analysis and insights to peers and executives.
  • Manage external agencies on social campaigns to drive site traffic and conversions, and oversee performance and creative.

Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, with eCommerce experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of eCommerce best practices.
  • Proven ability to operationalize and manage marketing strategies that drive user growth.
  • Experience analyzing audience data and adapting strategy and tactics based on insights.
  • Ability to collaborate with peers and present to executive leadership.
  • Self-starter who operates effectively in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience with eCommerce technology such as Adobe Commerce, job board functionality, or an LMS system (preferred).
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Eloqua, HubSpot, or Marketo (preferred).

  • Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, or equivalent relevant experience.
