The organization seeks a Sr. Cellular / RF Engineer II to design and optimize secure wireless connectivity for mission-critical federal environments. The role focuses on RF and cellular engineering, including site surveys, propagation analysis, and in-building solution design across 4G and 5G technologies. The engineer will strengthen and scale high-reliability infrastructure, troubleshoot complex interference and performance issues, and communicate findings to technical teams and government stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Use cellular and RF technologies to assess, design, and engineer secure wireless connectivity solutions in mission-critical federal environments.
- Conduct RF site surveys, measure and analyze signal strength and interference, and design solutions to improve in-building coverage, performance, and reliability.
- Participate in Agile execution while clearly communicating technical findings, recommendations, and solution impacts to technical teams and government stakeholders.
Experience Requirements:
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- DoD 8140 certification aligned to the 451 System Administrator work role when cyber-coded, such as Security+ as a baseline with SSCP or CISSP for senior practitioners; if not cyber-coded, certification may be designated as not applicable.
- 7+ years of RF engineering experience with a primary focus on cellular and RF technologies.
- Experience assessing, engineering, and optimizing wireless connectivity solutions, including 4G and 5G.
- Hands-on experience conducting RF and cellular site surveys, including signal strength measurements, propagation analysis, and coverage validation.
- Ability to design and implement in-building and campus wireless solutions to improve coverage, capacity, and reliability.
- Operational experience troubleshooting RF interference, signal degradation, and performance issues in complex environments.
- Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up in a mission-critical operational environment.
- Vendor or OEM certification aligned to deployed network or RF equipment or FCC GROL where applicable.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for education requirements.
- Security+ certification.
- SSCP certification.
- CISSP certification.
- Vendor or OEM network or RF certification.
- FCC GROL license, where applicable.
- DoD 8140-aligned certification for the 451 System Administrator work role when cyber-coded.
