Job Description

As a Security Officer - Perimeter Rounds Driver in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will check access points, verify badges and visitor authorization, and communicate clearly with personnel and guests. This is a driving post, and you will bring agility, teamwork, reliability, innovation, and integrity to every shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and post orders at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access at entry points by verifying credentials, directing visitors to the proper check-in process, and maintaining accurate visitor and vehicle logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate significant issues to supervisors and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access Control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
