Position Responsibilities:
Fleet Scheduling (Technical Writer) must have
- Ability to provide scheduling support for the development and maintenance of ship/s schedule to facilitate planning within MARMC.
- Ability to provide scheduling support by successfully loading and retrieving data through FTS, Fleet Scheduling Center (FSC) and Visit Analysis Center (VAC).
- Provide data and reporting measures related to ship/s schedules, with ability to identify and correct inaccuracies.
- Must have ability to apply knowledge of the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM) and Ship Force Readiness Manual (SFRM) requirements when developing operational schedules for Submarine, Air, and Surface Ships.
- Ability to develop and report weekly schedules for Commander, Naval Surface Force Pacific (CNSP) and Commander Naval Surface Force Atlantic (CNSL) Navy Data Environment (NDE) Chief of Naval Operations (CNO), Continuing Maintenance Availability (CMAV) and Total Ships Readiness Assessment (TSRA) availabilities.
- Ability to develop and provide weekly milestone reports for all CNO availabilities.
- Ability to maintain an up-to-date list of all Port Engineers (PE) for the entire Fleet.
- Ability to provide scheduling support and assistance to Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC), Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC), Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center (FDRMC), Hawaii Regional Maintenance Center (HRMC), Northwest Regional Maintenance Center (NWRMC), and Military Sealift Command (MSC).
- Attend meetings related to projects, working groups, initiatives, and technical conferences as required with ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
- Ability to provide administrative services such as development of flowcharts and presentations, documenting user-guides processes and business rules.
Position Requirements:
- Must be a U.S Citizen
- Must be able to obtain a secret clearance
- recent and current experience related to the job description within two (2) years;
- Ability to utilize computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite for compiling information for reports and history files.
