  • Develop and configure ITAM components including asset lifecycle workflows, license management, reconciliation processes, normalization, and discovery integrations.
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using ServiceNow best practices, including JavaScript, Glide API, and platform-native development tools.
  • Perform unit, system, and integration testing to ensure accurate asset tracking, compliance, and optimal system performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to asset data integrity, reconciliation discrepancies, and system integrations in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and maintain ITAM modules, ensuring accurate asset visibility, lifecycle tracking, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Implement enhancements such as automated asset provisioning, software license optimization, and audit readiness capabilities.
  • Address system defects and ensure the reliability, security, and performance of ITAM solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, particularly in ITAM best practices and ServiceNow development standards.
  • Participate in architecture design sessions, focusing on CMDB alignment, asset data models, and integration strategies.
  • Ensure timely delivery of ITAM-related development milestones in alignment with project plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including asset managers, procurement, security, and finance stakeholders to deliver end-to-end asset lifecycle solutions.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions specific to ITAM, including hardware asset management (HAM), software asset management (SAM), and SaaS management.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable ITAM solutions, ensuring compliance, governance, and cost optimization.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation including asset lifecycle workflows, data models, reconciliation logic, and user guides.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years specializing in ServiceNow, including significant hands-on experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM) modules (HAM, SAM, or SaaS).

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow development frameworks.
  • Experience with software license management, compliance tracking, and audit support.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL practices, particularly as they relate to asset and configuration management.
