Cyber Common Technical Core (CCTC) Instructor/Writer

Location: Fort Gordon, GA

Description:

Seeking a highly motivated CCTC Instructor/Writer to support the Cyber School at Fort Gordon.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

The Army established the Cyber School under the CCoE to train the new Cyber Branch/Career Field 17, which includes courses for MOS 17A, 170A, and 17C. The Cyber Branch primarily provides trained personnel to the Army Cyber Command's Cyber Mission Force (CMF) teams. The position will provide instructional support to the CCTC Operating Systems (OS), Networking, or Security modules.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the CCTC Course on Fort Gordon.
  • Attend and graduate or have previously completed within the last five (5) years, the TRADOC Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC), Foundation Instructor Facilitator's Course (FIFC), or Common Faculty Development Instructor Course (CFD-IC); Faculty Development Program-1 (FDP-1) (as required); and Installation Staff Contractor Training Course (ISCTC) or equivalent (i.e., Cadre Training Course (CTC) or Support Cadre Training Course (SCTC)).


Required Skills:
  • Technical Instructor certification or designation (e.g., CTT+, teaching certificate, certified professional instructor, master training specialist, or adjunct faculty certification) OR two (2) years or more of experience teaching technical content in a formal classroom setting. Experience is defined as experience in teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military institution, or industrial establishment in the appropriate field(s).
  • Possess knowledge of andragogical teaching methods to include the ability to recognize student mistakes, why they may have made those mistakes, and how to get students back on track from where they are.
  • Possess the ability to diagnose underlying student misconceptions and misunderstandings from the mistakes they make and then help them correct those misconceptions and misunderstandings instead of merely addressing the mistakes themselves.
  • Possess advanced presentation skills (e.g., tailoring content and delivery for different audiences, presenting confidently to large or small groups, and using more creative approaches to presenting).


AND
  • DoD Approved 8140.01 Baseline Certification (Any IAT Level 2 certification or higher)

AND
  • Familiarity and usage of version control software's GIT, GIT Lab, Git Hub.

AND
  • Be a graduate from one of the following Army's 17 series MOS/AOC producing courses: 17C AIT, 17A BOLC or CWOTCC, or 170A WOBC, 25D, 255S

OR
  • Graduate of Cyber Common Technical Core (CCTC) functional course.

OR
  • Graduate of Computer Network Operations Qualification Course (CNOQC).

OR
  • Hold Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) Certification.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
