WHAT WE'RE DOING
We are seeking an experienced Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit (MMIC) design engineer to join our Integrated Circuits Design team in Moorestown NJ. The successful candidate will develop concept, design, test, and release to production innovative MMIC solutions for defense applications ranging from UHF to Ka band.
THE WORK
In this role, you will be involved with project leadership throughout the entire product development cycle. In addition, you will interface with customers, various engineering disciplines, vendors and suppliers. This role will also entail:
• Having the opportunity to become a part of our maturing MMIC team that is developing on state of the art GaAs, GaN, InP II-V advanced technology nodes.
• Implementing RF and Analog design for implementation of novel Systems-on-Chip (SOC) functions.
• Architecting Flip Chip MMIC designs as part of System In Package (SIP) and or 3D Heterogeneously Integrated (3DHI) multi-IC integrations.
• Collaborating with cross functional teams with other engineering disciplines.
• The engineer will have the opportunity to gain leadership skills with programs involving complex MMIC and or multi MMIC / SIP design efforts.
• The engineer will have the opportunity to gain mentorship from more experienced engineers.

Basic Qualifications:
• Must have a BSEE OR BSCE or other relevant technical degree from an accredited university / college.
• Ability to obtain a secret clearance is required.
• Minimum 8 years of industry experience in MMIC schematic capture, simulation, and layout using Cadence AWR or Keysight ADS EDA tools is required.
• Strong RF skills using Keysight ADS, AWR or similar RF simulation platforms is required.
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 7 years or more of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.
• High Power Amplifier {HPA} experience highly desired.
• Desire to grow leadership skills is desired to support Integrated Program Team Leads (IPTLs) and Program Mangers (PMs)
• Transistor level trade study and modeling for RF circuits.
• Experience with III-V process nodes.
• Documentation of requirements, simulation, and verification in support of design assurance and reuse.
• Post-layout and top-level simulation for verification.
• Development of verification plans for next higher assembly integration.
• Strong RF Simulation skills using Keysight ADS and or AWR simulation platforms.
• Use of standard lab equipment including probe stations, PNA-X, oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and etc.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
