Position requires candidates to review, analyze, and interpret requirements from senior DoW leaders, private industry, and the defense ecosystem. The role bridges technical innovation and technology acceleration with the needs of the joint warfighter. Contracted directly to the Prototypes and Experiments (P&E) TF RAPTR team within the Under-Secretary of War for Research and Engineering (OUSW R&E), candidates will analyze technical performance data for emerging technologies across all domains and warfighting functions to clearly communicate results verbally and in writing. Must broker collaboration between various stakeholders from government, military, industry, and academia.

This position is designated as remote; however, the employee must reside within the state of Indiana. The role requires the ability to travel and work on-site as needed, with an expectation of approximately 20–25% on-site presence.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Analysis & Operational Alignment
• Review, analyze, and interpret operational and technical requirements from senior DoW leadership, defense stakeholders, and private industry partners.
• Translate strategic guidance into actionable analytical frameworks aligned with joint warfighter needs.
• Assess mission priorities and capability gaps across all warfighting domains.

2. Emerging Technology Evaluation & Performance Analysis
• Analyze performance data of emerging technologies across air, land, sea, cyber, and space domains.
• Evaluate technical capabilities, limitations, and operational relevance using multi-source intelligence methodologies.
• Conduct comparative assessments to support technology acceleration, prototype validation, and operational effectiveness.

3. Data Integration & Intelligence Analysis
• Integrate all-source intelligence to support evaluation of advanced technologies.
• Apply structured analytical techniques to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
• Utilize intelligence tools and platforms to synthesize, analyze, and visualize data.

4. Reporting, Briefing & Strategic Communication
• Develop and deliver clear, concise written reports, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership.
• Communicate complex technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Produce situational assessments, performance summaries, and recommendations to inform decision-making.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration & Exercise Coordination
• Broker collaboration between government, military, industry, and academic stakeholders.
• Facilitate coordination across joint, interagency, and coalition partners, including international engagements and embassy coordination.
• Coordinate and support large-scale joint and multinational exercises, including logistics, clearances, and administrative processes.

6. Operational Support, Experimentation & Innovation
• Support prototype development, experimentation, and operational testing within the P&E TF RAPTR team.
• Identify emerging technology trends, recommend innovative solutions, and assess impacts on future warfighting capabilities.
