We are actively hiring an Innovation, Technology & Community Outreach Engineer to join our Data and Systems Integration Division, working in Northern Virginia to p rovide support to new technology investigations and insertions into the Sponsor's technical communication program. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are actively hiring an Innovation, Technology & Community Outreach Engineer to join our Data and Systems Integration Division, working in Northern Virginia to p rovide support to new technology investigations and insertions into the Sponsor's technical communication program. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tasks shall include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist with forming and fostering strategic relationships with key industry partners for potential investment of technologies that could meet user needs.
- Identify short and long-term research that could fulfill future mission or other Sponsor needs.
- Insert and maintain information collected on emerging technology into the Sponsor's Innovation Portal repository.
- Assess emerging technologies that can be used for transforming today's infrastructure, procedures, and processes, including recommendations on the next technology phase for each new technology and an engineering analysis of architecture objective impacted by emerging technologies.
- Review various Sponsor and/or industry proof-of-concept projects that are in pilot, prototype, transition, or not yet adopted into the Sponsor or external customers' environment and provide feedback to the Sponsor on applicability of the project to the Sponsor's mission.
- Evaluate Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) technologies as a potential solution to current technology challenges and to meet user needs.
- Review, analyze and report on the results of the observed performance parameters, recommending alternatives which could become an integral part for managing future programs.
- Perform new capability, feasibility, and vulnerability studies and gap analysis and address and define assumptions, parameters, processes, gaps, risks and schedules.
- Analyze and evaluate alternatives or changes and perform tradeoff studies in support of the selection of a solution to meet an identified problem and its defined constraints.
- Utilize Agency and CIO security policies and procedures relative to construction and management of Information Technology systems.
- Provide consultation to internal groups responsible for taking the proof of concept to the engineering, integration, and deployment level. Provide troubleshooting support, as necessary, until technology is fully deployed in a designated environment.
- Develop, administer, collect, analyze, and report on customer satisfaction and work with the Sponsor to integrate the results of the review and survey into an improved set of policies, governance documents, and processes.
- Coordinate with the IC community, commercial partners, and academic and standards organizations to determine available technologies that could be leveraged for Sponsor systems.
- Familiarity with Sponsor technical communication systems.
- Level:
- Bachelors degree with 8 years of Intelligence Community support, or 12 years with no degree.
