Loyal Source is looking for an Avionics/ Electrical Engineer in Carrollton, GA. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to lead electrical design and development of special mission aircraft.
The Avionics/ Electrical Engineer develops, analyses, and designs electrical distribution for mission systems while serving as a resource to the integrated team of aviation professionals.
Ideal Candidate should have Beechcraft King Air Aircraft experience and reside locally to Carrollton, GA.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead electrical designs for power distribution to avionics, mission systems, including development of block diagrams, schematics, and cable drawings
Develop electrical loads analyses (ELA), determining impacts of aircraft and mission systems changes
Interface between electrical shops, integrators, and engineering and tracking fabrication progress
Develop Ground Test Plans in support of new equipment installed
Will be working from a hanger
Ability to develop mission power requirements and design mission power systems
Provide integration support for mission systems, as needed
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of two 3 years of experience working on Beechcraft King Airs
7 years in general in aviation
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an aircraft liaison
Excellent communications skills to interface with customers and peers
Proficient knowledge of computer systems and CAD packages (AutoCAD)
Working knowledge of FAA FARs
Work Location: On-site
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Shift: M-F 7:00AM-4:00PM (could be subject to change)
