Work You'll Do

As a Project Delivery Manager on the project, you will:
  • Develop engagement concepts, project proposals, and training curricula responsive to U.S. and international military and civilian partner needs and identified training gaps.
  • Deliver high-quality instruction and presentations for the HART Program, including modules for HART Disaster and HART Conflict courses (operational-level training applying military planning/decision-making to humanitarian contexts).
  • Design and deliver scenario-based learning, including case studies, small-group practical applications, and role-playing exercises, to reinforce course objectives and enhance learning outcomes.
  • Lead or support planning, coordination, and facilitation of events (e.g., capacity-building workshops, conferences, and partner engagements); support blended, virtual, and resident delivery formats for diverse audiences.
  • Provide planning and logistics support for international engagements and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) security cooperation workshops; support multinational/bilateral exercise participation when needed.
  • Produce and maintain operational products (e.g., handbooks, information papers) and draft analysis, correspondence, planning documents, after-action reviews (AARs), after-action reports, and trip reports.
  • Contribute to collection of best practices and lessons learned from real-world operations and exercises; translate insights into training updates and practical tools.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to commanders, staff, and civilian counterparts on international humanitarian norms, humanitarian assistance best practices, and civil-military coordination approaches relevant to natural disasters, complex emergencies, and conflict settings.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Active Secret security clearance required
  • 5+ years years of field experience conducting and/or supporting humanitarian assistance and civil-military coordination in international humanitarian crises.
  • 3+ years' experience in military exercises involving humanitarian assistance planning/execution and U.S. interagency coordination and collaboration.
  • 1+ years experience developing, delivering, and evaluating presentations/training for military and/or civilian audiences; strong facilitation and public speaking capability.
  • 1+ years experience advising and briefing senior leaders in military and/or civilian organizations.
  • 1+ years experience working for/with humanitarian stakeholders (e.g., United Nations agencies, international non-governmental organizations (INGOs), International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), and/or donor agencies); humanitarian program experience.
  • 1+ years experience drafting AARs, strategic planning documents, and operational correspondence.
  • Ability to travel 40-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred:
  • Master's degree in disaster management, international relations, public policy, or a related field.
  • United Nations Humanitarian Civil-Military Coordination (UN-CM Coord) training/background.
  • Military experience during disaster/humanitarian assistance operations.
  • Experience with the Asia-Pacific geopolitical security environment.
  • Experience working with U.S. Country Teams and Diplomatic Missions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build partnerships across government, military, and humanitarian organizations and work effectively with diverse perspectives.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,325 to $188,875.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
