The ideal candidate will be a retired/former GS-1811 Criminal Investigator with extensive demonstrated financial investigative experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Review extensive financial records, both seized and collected via subpoena and through open-source and government database searches and prepare detailed summary reports.
- Provide recommendations as to how to maximize the use of all federal criminal, civil statutes relating to money laundering and asset seizure, as well as US Treasury sanctions allowed under US law and how to apply them to global criminal organizations.
- Assist in debriefings of confidential sources and witnesses regarding financial intelligence.
- Assist in the identification of targets involving the agency's money laundering Attorney General Exempted Operations (AGEO).
- Assist in the vetting and coordination of leads with other offices and provide advice of how the operations might leverage their efforts to assist one another and avoid any duplication of effort.
- Ensure that all financial investigative tools, including all applicable U.S. government and international sanctions (i.e., Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), are applied as warranted.
- Mentor investigative/support personnel in the art of financial investigations and develop/ present Financial Investigations and Money Laundering training, as and where needed.
- Individual will be required to retrieve/review information from classified systems.
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen
- Must possess an active TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance
- Must be able to pass an Agency background check
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven (7) years of work experience in the law enforcement, investigative, or intelligence fields. Prior experience as GS-1811,1801 or 0132 series is preferred.
- Advanced financial investigative skills (e.g. money laundering)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Skill using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
