Opportunity:
Virtual Service Operations is searching for a skilled Field Technician responsible for traveling to customer job sites to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment or systems. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and the flexibility to work in various locations and environments. This is a temporary role for 3-4 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to client or job sites within the assigned service area
- Hanging access points
- Mounting switches
- Swapping machines
- Connecting printers and network cables
- Diagnose technical issues and perform repairs or replacements
- Provide on-site support and technical assistance
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
- Communicate clearly with customers, supervisors, and team members
- Manage tools, parts, and equipment inventory
Requirements
- 1 - 3 years of relevant, professional experience
- Experience in a technical field
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift equipment and work in various physical conditions (tight spaces etc.)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident
- Must be within driving distance of San Diego, CA and willing to work onsite
- Must be willing to join our team on a temporary basis
- You are an excellent communicator in writing and speaking.
- You have the ability to work independently but also value teamwork.
