Barbaricum seeks a Senior Power Platform Lead to act as the team's Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate). This role leads the technical direction, architectural design, and successful delivery of all Power Platform solutions supporting Defense Information Systems Agency's (DISA) Office of the Component Acquisition Executive (OCAE). The ideal candidate is an expert technical lead who will own the lifecycle of a critical BI dashboard portfolio. As a secondary function, this role will provide technical oversight for the supporting SharePoint Online environment. Reporting to the Project Manager, this position is located at DISA's Fort Meade, MD headquarters and requires an active DoW Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the designated Power Platform SME, providing expert-level guidance on data visualization, data modeling, Power Fx, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
  • Lead the architectural design and development of enterprise solutions leveraging Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Own the portfolio of 8+ Power BI dashboards and lead the development of an expanding portfolio, delivering multiple new websites, dashboards, and apps annually, with an anticipated growth of up to 30 new solutions.
  • Design and lead the integration of complex data sources (SQL, APIs, SharePoint, etc.), ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across the platform.
  • Direct and provide technical oversight for all major platform and site migrations, ensuring strategic alignment and collaborative execution with the development team.
  • Lead the analysis and re-engineering of 12 core acquisition processes, authoring recommendations for process automation and improvement using the Power Platform.
  • Author, review, and deliver all required Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), including weekly/monthly status reports, technical documentation, user training materials, the annual Acquisition Process Documentation, and the quarterly Acquisition Improvement Implementation Strategy.
  • Provide direct strategic guidance to OCAE leadership (CAE/Director-level) on Power Platform roadmaps, capabilities, and requirements definition.
  • As a secondary duty, serve as the technical escalation point for the supporting SharePoint Online environment (80+ sites). This includes owning the operational health of the environment by performing routine content management, ensuring data is current, and resolving issues like broken links within a 24-hour timeframe.
  • Develop and provide monthly metrics and statistics on site usage and data utilization to inform platform strategy and demonstrate value.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices in data visualization, security, and application development.

Required Qualifications:
  • Active DoW Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred; however, an additional 4 years of relevant professional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • 8-10+ years of experience with a demonstrated mastery of the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and enterprise Power BI) and its integration with SharePoint Online (SPO).
  • Proven expertise in leading the delivery of complex, integrated solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform for government clients.
  • Expert-level knowledge of data modeling, data transformation (Power Query), and writing advanced DAX measures.
  • Proven track record leading large-scale business process automation projects and owning the delivery of multi-system dashboards using the Power Platform.
  • Demonstrated experience leading business process analysis and re-engineering, specifically within a DoW or Federal acquisition context.
  • Experience establishing enterprise-level governance and advising senior executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to produce executive-level deliverables suitable for Flag Officer review, ensuring all content is compliant with the DISA Action Officer and Brand Guides and adheres to strict contractual Acceptable Quality Levels (AQL).
  • Exceptional communication, customer engagement, and documentation skills.
