Hardware Development Engineer
We are seeking a Hardware Development Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced hardware solutions for next-generation network security systems. This role involves end-to-end hardware design including architecture, schematic development, PCB layout, and validation of complex, high-speed digital systems.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) for high-performance FPGA-based systems.
Perform high-speed digital design, signal integrity analysis, and power distribution network design.
Oversee and review schematic capture, PCB layout, and hardware validation testing.
Collaborate with firmware, software, and mechanical engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration.
Develop and execute hardware bring-up, debugging, and verification test plans.
Document design specifications, test procedures, and engineering reports in compliance with DoD and classified program requirements.
Required Qualifications
Active Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in hardware development.
Proficiency with schematic capture tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, or Mentor Graphics).
Experience with high-speed digital interfaces (PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, SERDES).
Strong understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and board-level validation.
Ability to work on-site in a secure development environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience with FPGA-based system design (Xilinx, Intel/Altera, etc.).
Knowledge of DoD hardware design standards and configuration management practices.
Familiarity with hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
Excellent documentation and communication skills for classified project environments
