Location: This position does not support teleworking; the selected candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in:

• Huntsville AL

You will be working a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.

Key activities you will accomplish in this role:

As a member of the TCP Engineering team your responsibilities will include:
• Designing, developing, documenting, and testing radio systems and interfaces
• Working on complex technical problems and providing innovative solutions.
• Supporting technical reviews internally, with the customer and external stakeholders, and at supplier locations.
• Performing hands-on testing and troubleshooting of RF systems using a range of equipment including spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes to measure and analyze RF data
• Assisting in developing and implementing test procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with requirements and industry standards
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate RF systems with other components
• Applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. This will include supporting major program milestone events.
• Develop electrical designs for the Electrical Support Equipment and Special Test Equipment

To be effective in this role, you will need:

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Must have an active DoD Interim Secret or higher clearance to be considered, thus you are a US Citizen.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education

• Prior related experience working on software development projects

• Advanced knowledge of Software Defined Radio development techniques and practices, including interface with RF-sensitive components

• Advanced experience with RF test and measurement equipment, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, Vector Network Analyzers, oscilloscopes, RF power meters, etc.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with the use of RF microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools.
• Prior experience with RF Sensor or Active Module/Subsystems development is desired.
• 5+ years of related experience working on software development projects
• Experience with electrical/engineering design applications such as Zuken, Creo, Matlab
• An advanced degree in engineering from an accredited college or university is desired.
• Relevant experience in the defense electronics industry, including architecture development for RF systems.
• Experience in leading or presenting at technical reviews and boards is desired.
• Experience in planning and leading technical solutions from proposal through all aspects of development. This includes SRR, PDR, CDR, Qualification, System Verification & Test, FCA, and transition to production.
• Experience with spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes
• Ability to interact with peer-developers to facilitate interoperability with other subsystems
• Experience with Microsoft software products including Visio
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
