Join Peraton in advancing the safety, efficiency, and modernization of the National Airspace System (NAS) through the FAA's Brand New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS) contract. Peraton is seeking a Project Manager - Agile to support Alaska-based Weather and AAC efforts. This role will provide senior project leadership, stakeholder coordination, and delivery oversight across complex technical and operational initiatives, using Agile or hybrid delivery methods as appropriate

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead planning, execution, coordination, and oversight of assigned projects or workstreams.
  • Apply Agile or hybrid delivery practices to support effective planning, prioritization, execution, and transparency.
  • Coordinate across technical teams, customers, leadership, and support personnel to drive project success.
  • Monitor scope, schedule, risks, dependencies, and performance.
  • Support issue resolution, escalation management, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Prepare or oversee status reporting, executive briefings, and project documentation.
  • Promote disciplined delivery practices, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Work Location / Additional Requirements
  • This position is based in Anchorage, Alaska.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to and support field sites and remote locations, as required.
  • Ability to work in austere environments and Arctic conditions, including remote site access and limited-amenity accommodations.
  • Willingness to comply with applicable site safety, badging, and operational requirements.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and 12 years of relevant experience; or 10 years experience with Masters Degree, or 7 applicable experience years with PHD.
  • Extensive experience managing complex projects in technical, operational, or federal environments.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile, hybrid, or iterative delivery practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting FAA, aviation, weather, or Alaska-based programs.
  • Experience supporting geographically dispersed teams or remote-site implementation efforts.

Details

Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
