Sr. Systems Engineer

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program Requirements team. In this role, the selected candidate will contribute to projects that support the design, development, and integration of GWS capabilities for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
Responsibilities:
- The position focuses on requirements development, traceability, and verification activities while collaborating with engineering teams across the program.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Active Secret Clearance required
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university.
- 5 Years Experience with a Bachelor's in Science; 3 Years Experience with a Master's; 1 Year with a PhD
- Experience with DOORS, CAMEO, and/or Model-Based Systems Engineering
- Experience authoring requirements and developing verification strategies
- Experience collaborating with engineering disciplines and stakeholders across IPTs
- Familiarity with Atlassian tool suite (JIRA/Confluence)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical content to audiences of varying backgrounds
- Must be able to work on-site in an office environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience performing Systems Engineering work on GWS or GMD
- Experience developing objective evidence and presenting at major program events such as Technical Interchange Meetings
- Experience leading systems engineering efforts through roles such as Product Owner or Scrum Master
- INCOSE or PMP Certifications
