Come join our team! Mobius is seeking an amazingly talented Senior Telemetry & Trajectory Engineer. In this role you will provide technical and advisory assistance to Targets Program Office by aiding in the refinement and implementation of Target trajectories in support of the agencies flight test events to validate the weapon and system sensors. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Duties of a Senior Telemetry & Trajectory Engineer may include:

• Support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Directorate for Test (DT) Targets program office in all aspects of target design, analysis, and test including requirements development and assessment, modeling and simulation, test analysis and reporting with technical focus areas including vehicle telemetry design and analysis.
• Utilize knowledge, skills and experience with missile characteristics (physical, kinematics, signatures) and engineering to support engineering activities and data product development, configuring and operating telemetry data acquisition equipment during test events, and performing vehicle telemetry data decommutation, reduction, conversions, etc.
• Generate target vehicle visualizations, situational awareness displays, and reports/briefing while collaborating with a dynamic team of experts in multiple technical areas to develop analysis and engineering tools.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, Java, C#, and other programming languages
• Experience with telemetry systems, data acquisition, and analysis
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git, SVN)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with a minimum of 7 years of related DoD experience.

Clearance

• Active DoD Secret clearance, or the ability to quickly qualify for one.
