We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to design, build, secure, and deploy containerized microservices in a classified environment supporting mission-critical systems. This role focuses on the development of Kubernetes-based platforms, cloud-native architectures, and secure CI/CD pipelines.
We're looking for a candidate who is confident and proactive in strengthening a DevSecOps culture, and seamlessly integrating security, automation, and resilience into existing engineering workflows.
This position requires an Active Secret Clearance and is 100% on-site in Maynard, MA.
What you'll do:
• Contribute to the development and improvement of CI/CD pipelines
• Support deployment, troubleshooting, and performance of containerized applications
• Assist in building and maintaining secure, scalable cloud-based solutions
• Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Help identify and address security risks across systems and workflows
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for reliability and efficiency
• Partner with development teams to resolve deployment challenges and optimize processes
• Document tools, processes, and best practices to support team knowledge sharing
What you'll bring:
• This position requires an Active Secret Clearance; US Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or similar roles
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Linux environments and scripting (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Familiarity with basic monitoring and logging frameworks
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
Nice to have:
• Background in space systems, missile defense, or aerospace programs
• Experience with DoD DevSecOps ecosystems
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Familiarity with security or compliance frameworks (NIST, RMF, etc.)
• Experience with large-scale microservices architectures
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Experience with hybrid networking and production-grade container orchestration solutions

Salary Range:
The annual salary range for this position is $80,000 - $190,000 USD. The final salary will be determined based on the selected candidate's education, experience, skills, certifications, and other relevant qualifications, as well as applicable client or government contractual rates.
