Work You'll Do
As a Project Delivery Specialist on the project, You will design and build mission-critical integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using MuleSoft, partnering closely with functional stakeholders, the project management office (PMO), integration partners, and the Salesforce delivery team
- Own hands-on delivery of MuleSoft integrations across one or more product teams (pods), from discovery through hypercare.
- Translate business needs into integration requirements, including interface contracts, data mapping, and non-functional requirements (performance, reliability, scalability).
- Develop MuleSoft APIs and flows using scalable, reusable API-led connectivity patterns (system/process/experience APIs where applicable).
- Implement robust error handling, retries, idempotency, and resilience patterns; troubleshoot complex cross-system issues end-to-end.
- Partner with Salesforce architects/admins and downstream system teams to align on data models, event/trigger patterns, and integration design.
- Support testing and release activities, including test data needs, deployment readiness, and production validation.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years integration development experience, including 2-3+ years hands-on MuleSoft on production implementations.
- Strong expertise with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Design Center/Exchange, Runtime Manager, API Manager) and API-led connectivity patterns.
- Hands-on build skills in Mule 4, DataWeave, connectors, error handling, retries/idempotency, and performance tuning.
- Solid testing practice with MUnit and experience supporting SIT/UAT and production validation.
- Proven Salesforce integration experience: REST/SOAP APIs, Bulk API, Platform Events/CDC (if applicable), and Salesforce data model + limits (governor/API limits, batching).
- Ability to define/consume interface contracts (OpenAPI/RAML), do data mapping, and manage versioning/backward compatibility.
- Security fundamentals for integrations: OAuth 2.0/JWT, certificate/key management concepts, secrets handling, least privilege, and secure transport.
- Operational readiness: logging/monitoring, troubleshooting across systems, runbooks, and production support/hypercare participation.
- Strong collaboration skills with functional stakeholders, project management office (PMO), Salesforce team, and downstream system owners; clear technical documentation.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
- Ability to travel 20-30%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
- Experience with MuleSoft PCE (Private Cloud Edition) operations and delivery considerations (deployment models, runtime management, environment strategy)
- Prior delivery on Federal programs or similar high-compliance environments
- Experience with CI/CD for MuleSoft, release orchestration across multiple teams, and production support/hypercare
- Familiarity with mobile-first solution constraints and integration performance considerations
