Job Description and Responsibilities
A Senior RF Systems Engineer II in Indianapolis typically supports engineering teams by managing program development from concept through verification and validation. Key responsibilities include:
- Requirements development, participation in system design reviews, and test plan creation.
- Performing system integration, test execution, and troubleshooting on complex systems.
- Collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders across engineering.
- Providing installation and/or troubleshooting support at customer sites.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- 8+ years of systems engineering experience, including leadership on large-scale programs
- Strategic thinker with the ability to influence technical direction at executive levels.
- Clear, persuasive communication tailored to both technical and business audiences, including both internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional leadership and mentoring capabilities for senior engineering teams.
- Familiarity with the systems engineering design process
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-461/464
- Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) electronics
- Experience with satellite link performance
- Experience with RF network and spectrum analyzers
- Basic understanding of RF antenna design concepts

- Familiarity with embedded programming
