The Planning Manager is the focal point for all supply chainactivities. The individual develops andimplements long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacityissues, production location decisions, etc. in support of business growth andsustainment. The Planning Manager supports execution of programs andcoordination of new program / product launches. The Planning Manager monitors key performance indicators, analyzesperformance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increaseeffectiveness of supply chain initiatives.
The Planning Manager optimizes how supply chain management interfaceswith manufacturing systems. The Planning Manager will plan, prepare,issue and control material requirements in conjunction with the productionschedule. Planning Manager will supportrisk management activities impacting the value chain working withcross-functional teams. The PlanningManager ensures that shipments are accomplished to maintain contract/internaldelivery commitments. The candidate will utilize system and process tools toachieve program / functional goals.
As a PlanningManager, this position requires that the candidate possess a strongunderstanding of procurement and planning process steps; the individual must becapable of troubleshooting process failures to ensure success for theprogram. Inaddition to executing programs the Planning Manager will lead and manage a teamof Supply Chain professionals at various experience levels including but notlimited to Manufacturing Production Control, Supply Chain Planning, andLogistic for assigned programs. Developand maintain professional and dependable relationships with both internal andexternal customers.
ThePlanning Manager will assist in planning, developing, and executing corporatetraining and organizational development plan for Supply Chain Planningpersonnel. Other people managerresponsibilities include but are not limited to: assessing staffing levels,hiring, terminating, coaching, disciplining and leading a diverse set ofemployees.

Full-Time Salary Range: $92180 - $156707

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience
- Planning experience in a large multifaceted electronic manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with defense aerospace industry & regulations
- Significant ERP System Experience (Oracle, SAP, Other), inclusive of shop floor control systems
- Knowledge of Manufacturing processes
- Sales & Operations Experience / knowledge
- Inventory / stockroom management
- Project Management experience
- Ability to verbally and accurately report production status to program team or factory team
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Create presentation materials and give presentations to leadership team, production team, and customers
- Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Ability to analyze, react, and train on exceptions in MRP, especially around Bills of Material, Material Planning, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders and ECOs. The individual would be proactive to reduce exceptions and may influence system change requests to the MRP system. Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)

- Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in two or more of the following: Material Planning, Demand Planning, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Inventory Management, Rough Cut Capacity Planning, or Production Planning
- Familiarity with defense aerospace industry & regulations
