Job Description
As a Security Guard Armed Driver Security Clearance in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving post, supporting rapid response, clear reporting, and professional customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, identification checks, and visitor processing in a professional manner.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production and office areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to identify hazards or unusual conditions.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, and other security-related systems; document activity and report suspicious or unusual events according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public responders as needed and/or directed.
- Complete detailed written reports, shift logs, and incident documentation; communicate clearly during shift turnovers and maintain accountability of assigned equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 2 years of security experience.
- Have 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or have a college degree.
- Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
