A Day in the Life - What you'll do

• Support the full lifecycle of AI/ML solutions-from problem definition and data collection to model development, deployment, and monitoring

• Develop and validate machine learning models using modern frameworks, ensuring accuracy, performance, and mission alignment

• Collaborate with software engineers and DevOps teams to integrate AI/ML models into production environments

• Communicate AI/ML insights and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders while supporting continuous model improvement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) with 2+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 0 years of experience

• Active DoD Secret clearance required to start

• Experience or familiarity with AI/ML techniques including deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and reinforcement learning

• Programming experience in Python, R, or similar languages

• Experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Keras)

• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and prompt engineering

• Familiarity with Linux operating systems

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Willingness to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace or engineering domains

• Familiarity with MLOps and deploying models at scale

• Experience with A/B testing and performance evaluation of AI/ML models

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices

• Experience working with sensitive or regulated data environments

• Experience in Modeling & Simulation (M&S) environments

• Knowledge of missile flight characteristics, motion, and atmospheric dynamics

• Understanding of trajectory analysis, countermeasures, debris modeling, and signature modeling

• Experience with missile system models and performance analysis

• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban)
