Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Technician with a specialized focus on antenna measurements using Orbit measurement systems, or similar measurement systems. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of hands-on experience in antenna measurement techniques, including proficiency with Orbit systems, RF, and microwave measurements.
Essential Functions:
Conduct precise antenna measurements using Orbit measurement systems.
Set up, calibrate, and operate RF and microwave test equipment, including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and anechoic chambers.
Analyze and interpret test data to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to antenna measurements.
Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation of test results.
Work closely with engineers to provide feedback on antenna performance and improvements.
Maintain test equipment and ensure calibration is up to date.
Train and mentor junior technicians on measurement techniques and equipment usage.
Adhere to safety standards and protocols during testing procedures.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in antenna measurement and testing.
Expertise with Orbit measurement systems.
Proficiency in the use of RF and microwave measurement equipment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Security Clearance Required
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
Certification in RF/microwave measurement techniques.
Prior experience in providing technical training.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $43.03/hr - $80.05/hr. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $37.26/hr - $69.47/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
