Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Logistics Management Analyst to support logistics, inventory, and IT asset management operations within a secure environment. This role will support warehouse operations and lifecycle management of IT hardware and software assets while ensuring accountability, traceability, and compliance with organizational policies and federal regulations.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, distribution, tracking, and disposition of IT equipment and related assets. This includes supporting hardware asset management, software asset management, inventory control, and lifecycle tracking while maintaining accurate records in enterprise asset management systems.

The Logistics Management Analyst will collaborate with internal teams including IT, cybersecurity, procurement, and program management to ensure mission readiness and effective asset stewardship across the enterprise. The ideal candidate is a self-starter capable of operating in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision while maintaining strict compliance with security and asset accountability requirements.

Key Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Manage shipping and receiving operations for IT hardware and related equipment within a controlled warehouse environment
  • Maintain accurate inventory accountability for government and company-owned assets.
  • Perform hardware asset management (HAM) activities including asset tagging, tracking, and documentation
  • Support software asset management (SAM) by maintaining license records and assisting with lifecycle tracking of software assets
  • Maintain records related to IT asset lifecycle management, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement
  • Conduct inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal controls
  • Manage equipment disposition and excess property processing, utilizing Disposition Services / DRMO procedures
  • Ensure all asset management activities align with DoD compliance requirements and organizational policies
  • Utilize warehouse management systems and asset tracking tools to maintain accurate records of inventory movement and asset status
  • Coordinate with IT teams to ensure proper handling, storage, and deployment of classified or controlled equipment when required
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to asset accountability, inventory status, and logistics operations
  • Maintain organized warehouse operations including storage optimization, material handling, and equipment staging


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience; OR an Associate's Degree with 7 years of experience; OR a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 9 years of IT/Logistics experience is required
  • US Citizenship
  • Active Top Secret / SCI security clearance to be considered. TS/SCI clearance must be in place by the start date and must stay in place throughout employment
  • Experience supporting logistics operations, inventory management, or warehouse management in a professional environment
  • Experience with shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and asset tracking
  • Experience managing IT hardware inventory or technical equipment assets
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation in asset management systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams
  • Must be able to work standing and lift 50lbs


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) logistics or asset management operations
  • Prior experience with IT asset lifecycle management including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposition
  • Experience using WASP warehouse management system or similar inventory management platforms
  • Familiarity with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Disposition Services / DRMO processes
  • Knowledge of hardware asset management (HAM) and software asset management (SAM) best practices
  • Active CompTIA Security+ CE certification or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification
  • Prior military logistics experience or background in supply chain management
  • Experience working in secure or classified environments
  • Experience supporting IT or cybersecurity asset accountability programs

Primary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
