Responsibilities of the Network Technician include:
- Monitor global network infrastructure including routers, switches, crypto devices, and voice/video systems
- Respond to network alarms, incidents, and outages within defined SLAs
- Perform initial triage and escalate issues to higher - tier engineering teams
- Document actions, resolutions, and events in enterprise ticketing systems
- Collaborate with internal operations teams and external mission partners
- Support continuous 24/7/365 operations through rotating 8 - hour shifts
- Maintain compliance with federal security, configuration, and operational standards
Qualifications for the Network Technician include:
- Active Secret clearance
- DoD 8570 IAT II certification (Security+ CE) required prior to start
- 0-2 years (Entry), 3-5 years (Mid), or 5-7+ years (Senior) experience
- Experience working with routers, switches, crypto devices, and voice/video systems
- Familiarity with Cisco and Juniper platforms
- Ability to work rotating shift schedules in a 24/7 NOC environment
- Willingness to relocate to Hill AFB, UT (no relocation assistance)
Compensation for the Network Technician includes:
- Salary Range: $53,000-$84,000 depending on experience
