MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Ability to lead cross functional teams
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
- Demonstrated presentation skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with the customer
- Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Ability to travel domestic and/or international
Desired Skills:
• SAP and MS Office, Windchill and Apriso knowledge
• Cost / Schedule / Budget Responsibility
• Ability to perform trade studies and present results to leadership
• Experience working with Government customers
• Experience with Notification of Change (NOC) process
• Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification
• Proposal bidding and Make Buy experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

What You Will Be Doing

- Develop and mentor Level 1-5 individual contributors, fostering technical growth and career progression.
- Drive improvements in cost, schedule, quality, and safety across the missile production line.
- Communicate risks and program status to functional leaders, ensuring alignment with objectives.
- Oversee manufacturing engineering processes, ensuring compliance with standards and supporting continuous-improvement initiatives.
