We are currently seeking a Program Analyst, Journeyman to support PMA-261 at the Patuxent River, MD Program Office. The candidate will be a member of the Systems Engineering, Integration & Testing (SEIT) Team and shall provide Systems Engineering and management support.

Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.

Required Experience:

Journeyman - 3 to 10 years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description.

Duties and Responsibilities: Duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Participates as a member of and/or supports the overall program and SEIT Team.
  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.
  • Provide direct support to the Chief Engineer and the engineering team in support of weapons system requirements validation.
  • Collect, interpret, track, and organize information and documentation relating to product requirements.
  • Track and manage overall time sensitive requirements, and ensuring inputs are collected and submitted ahead of deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Manage Requests for Deviations (RFDs), Advanced Change Notices (ACNs) and Specification Change Notices (SCNs) and ensure they progress through Requirements Management (RM) and Configuration Management (CM) phases to the Change Control Board (CCB)
  • Coordinate between PMA and external customers for technical planning, execution, and meeting support, including developing briefing materials, responding to data requests, and tracking actions.

  • Experience handling sensitive information
  • Research instructions, directives, lessons learned, etc.
  • Strategic Planning
  • Whiteboard sessions (strategies, plans)
  • Execute planning session ideas.
  • Proficiency with the AMS Suite of Tools.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Programs to include Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Required Education: Journeyman - BA/BS degree.

Allowable Substitution:

Associate's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

OR

Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

Required Experience: J o urneyman - 3 to 10 years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description.

Desired Experience: Journeyman - At least 2 years of experience supporting NAVAIR programs.

Hybrid Work Disclaimer: This position may allow for hybrid work; however, employees must be able and willing to travel and provide in-office or on-site support as required by customer requirements, project demands, or business needs.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $78,433.26-$117,649.90 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
