Markon is seeking a Business/Finance Manager to support financial forecasting, variance analysis, capital planning, pricing support, and financial advisory services. This role will support financial decision-making, improve financial processes, and enhance reporting capabilities within the Business Element. In this position, you will work closely with leadership to analyze financial performance, support pricing and capital planning activities, and provide strategic financial insight.

Responsibilities
- Manage and support annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, including pricing support.
- Develop and analyze income statement and cash flow forecasts.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational and financial improvement.
- Lead monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis and forecasting updates.
- Support capital planning and investment analysis, including depreciation schedule forecasting.
- Provide financial advisory support to leadership and stakeholders to inform business and financial decisions.
- Mentor and advise the customer on financial planning processes, financial management practices, and reporting improvements, as needed.
- Support financial reconciliation activities and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI w/ active Polygraph required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Master's degree and/or CPA certification preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in financial management, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including development of complex financial models.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
- Experience developing pricing models and supporting cost proposals or pricing strategies.
- Experience supporting capital investment planning and depreciation forecasting.
- Experience working with a Working Capital Fund (WCF), other federal WCFs, or corporate FP&A environments.
- Strong communication, consulting, and client engagement skills.
