A Day in the Life - What you’ll do
Support the full lifecycle of AI/ML solutions—from problem definition and data collection to model development, deployment, and monitoring
Develop and validate machine learning models using modern frameworks, ensuring accuracy, performance, and mission alignment
Collaborate with software engineers and DevOps teams to integrate AI/ML models into production environments
Communicate AI/ML insights and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders while supporting continuous model improvement
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) with 2+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 0 years of experience
Active DoD Secret clearance required to start
Experience or familiarity with AI/ML techniques including deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and reinforcement learning
Programming experience in Python, R, or similar languages
Experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Keras)
Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and prompt engineering
Familiarity with Linux operating systems
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Willingness to travel up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in aerospace or engineering domains
Familiarity with MLOps and deploying models at scale
Experience with A/B testing and performance evaluation of AI/ML models
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices
Experience working with sensitive or regulated data environments
Experience in Modeling & Simulation (M&S) environments
Knowledge of missile flight characteristics, motion, and atmospheric dynamics
Understanding of trajectory analysis, countermeasures, debris modeling, and signature modeling
Experience with missile system models and performance analysis
Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban)
