As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at an aerospace and defense location, you will coordinate security-related communications, support access control and incident reporting, and help to deter unwanted activity through visible presence and routine checks. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license per AU Driver Policy Requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
• Operate dispatch communications by monitoring alarms, cameras, radios, and/or telephone lines, prioritizing calls for service, and coordinating officer response per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including relaying accurate information to leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Support access control and controlled-area protocols by verifying credentials, processing visitor requests, issuing temporary badges when authorized, and documenting entries and exits.
• Coordinate regular and random patrols around buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes, and maintain detailed logs and incident reports; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
