Job Requirements:
BS degree in Engineering, could consider an AAS candidate with the right experience
This person will likely have 5-10 years experience as a minimum, possibly more
Candidates must have experience with developing manufacturing processes for castings, resins, silicone molds, and electroplating
Materials with electroplating: zinc, nickel, copper, chromium, gold, silver, tin, brass, platinum, rhodium, palladium, cadmium, indium, lead
Experience with CAD (Creo preferred, Solidworks, Inventor, etc are OK)
Experience with “structure light measurement” is highly preferred in at least one of the candidates
Structured light measurement is a highly effective and widely used technique in 3D metrology and computer vision. In fact, it is one of the most common ways to digitize the physical world for engineering, manufacturing, and healthcare. Keywords: projections, deformation and triangulation.
Job Duties:
This person will be developing new methods to make die castings and providing guidance on electroplating processes
This person will also be doing structured light measurements.
Setting up process for silicone molds, demolding them then electroplating these parts
