F-16 Avionics Technician
Skybridge Aviation – Mesa, AZ
Skybridge Aviation is seeking experienced F-16 Avionics Technicians to support fighter aircraft maintenance operations in Mesa, Arizona. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, inspecting, and repairing complex avionics systems to ensure aircraft remain safe, operational, and mission-ready.

The company will cover the cost for qualified candidates to obtain their FAA A&P license if they do not currently have one. No personal tools are required to start.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and modifications on F-16 avionics systems
• Work with systems including radar, navigation, communications, weapons control, and flight control electronics
• Inspect avionics components and wiring for defects such as loose connections, damaged wiring, or improper installation
• Test avionics systems using diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital meters, circuit analyzers, and counters
• Analyze system performance and repair or replace faulty components as needed
• Follow technical manuals, engineering drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation
• Conduct operational testing under simulated or live conditions to verify system performance and airworthiness
• Calibrate installed or repaired avionics equipment to required specifications when necessary
• Assist with fabrication and installation of wiring harnesses as required
• Operate ground support equipment to test electrical and avionics systems
• Coordinate with program leadership, engineering teams, and military or customer representatives
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support aircraft readiness
Qualifications:
• Hands-on avionics experience on F-16 aircraft required
• Minimum experience- Level 7 or equivalent direct avionics maintenance experience on F-16 aircraft
• High School Diploma or GED required
• FAA A&P License preferred but not required
• Candidates without an A&P must be willing to obtain certification within 180 days of hire (the company will pay for it)
Work Environment and Requirements:
• Candidates may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
• Work will be performed in a military aviation maintenance environment
• Domestic and international travel may be required
