Description:
SPAARK is seeking a Senior Human Resource Specialist to provide expert-level support for human resources management activities supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC). The successful candidate will assist leadership in analyzing, managing, and improving key HR processes and organizational functions within a federal government environment.
This position plays a critical role in supporting workforce planning, HR operations, and organizational effectiveness initiatives across the program.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive support across all aspects of NSWC human resources management.
Analyze and evaluate HR policies, procedures, and organizational processes.
Support improvements to HR programs and workforce management initiatives.
Assist leadership in managing HR-related functions that impact workforce effectiveness and organizational performance.
Provide guidance and analytical support for HR initiatives and workforce planning efforts.
Support coordination between HR staff, leadership, and program stakeholders.
Ensure HR operations align with federal policies, organizational requirements, and program objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
An Associate’s degree plus five additional years of experience may substitute for the bachelor’s degree.
Active Secret clearance required.
10 years of recent experience supporting human resources management, organizational processes, or program management functions.
At least 2 years of experience supporting a Federal Agency environment.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
