REQUIRED:
- Active Clearance: Top Secret (TS), SCI preferred (Immediate eligibility for SCI/SAP required)
- Ability to work onsite at Shaw AFB, SC
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience working as a group (or higher) level UDM interfacing with higher HQ for readiness reporting
- Familiarity with all Air Force readiness reporting software (ART, DRRS, AFIT)
FUNCTION:
- Prepares and processes wing members for deployments/re-deployments to/from combat zones, exercises, and other locations based on US Government, DoD, AF, and COCOM guidance.
- Coordinates and schedules required pre-departure training with the wing deploying personnel, their supervisor, and DOS. Accesses ACES and SFMIS for scheduling pre-deployment training.
- Identifies deployment equipment for procurement specified by organizations or guidance from organizations through outsourcing Government Contractors, maintains this equipment, and distributes individual equipment for deploying personnel utilizing current host base and AFI guidance. Prepares and submits a list of deployment item requirements for purchase to wing leadership.
- Serves as the wing subject matter expert (SME) for wing and unit level readiness reporting. Manages deployment reporting in the Air Expeditionary Force Reporting Tool (ART) and the Deliberate Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segments (DCAPES) system including Unit Type Code posturing and individual status updates. Manages AF-IT and DRRS reporting tools for proper wing/unit posturing and uses DCAPES to track all the wing's UTCs.
- Monitors the Host Wing Time Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD) for deployment of taskers to the wing.
- Uses LOGMOD and Excel to track pre-deployment/post-deployment mobility, logistics, security, ancillary training, medical, and dental requirements. Proactively interfaces with wing points of contact (POCs) to ensure personnel complete deployment requirements in a timely manner. Prepares status reports showing individual, unit, group, and wing readiness for deployment. Tracks, complies with, and reports individual and unit deployment statistics.
- Interfaces with Combat Arms Training and Maintenance (CATM) and mobility support agencies to facilitate the scheduling and accomplishment of pre-deployment ancillary training events.
- Interfaces with government-designated Commercial Travel Office (CTO), Air Mobility Command liaison officers, and unit/wing resource advisors to arrange and/or de-conflict deployment/redeployment travel. Utilizes the Foreign Clearance Guide (FCG) for individual, unit, and wing foreign travel requirements for deployments and TDYs.
- Provides weekly updates to squadron/wing leadership containing the duty status and location of deployed personnel to facilitate tracking of duty status and performance report/decoration accomplishment.
- Coordinates with wing, base, and higher headquarters offices on deployment issues and maintains mobility folders/documentation IAW DoD Foreign Clearance Guide, AFI 10-244, AFI 10-403, AFI 33-332, AFI 37-132, associated CENTAF/ACC/Installation supplements, and locally developed guidance. Builds and maintains individual mobility folders for all deployable wing and subordinate unit members. Generates and verifies Isolated Personnel Report (ISOPREP) data for deploying personnel.
- Creates monthly reports outlining mobility status of all deployable wing members and the preparation level/status versus total requirements of those tasked to deploy.
- Disseminates all Higher Headquarters (HHQ) guidance and/or correspondence to subordinate and geographically separated units, as required, in a timely manner, for the wing/CC.
- Ensures units assigned to the wing register a sufficient number of assigned individuals in the Unit Commander (UC) role and Unit Administrator (UA) role so that monthly readiness assessments are accomplished on time. Ensures UCs complete the Commanders Readiness Reporting (CRR) course and UAs complete the Air Force Readiness Reporting (AFRR) course in the prescribed timeframe.
- Interacts with Air Combat Command Readiness Office to resolve any wing issues, as directed by the wing/CC.
- Assists the Wing Commander in developing wing procedures to ensure subordinate units' readiness assessments are accomplished monthly, between the 1st and the 15th of each month. Assists units that cannot physically report readiness due to deployments or other mission circumstances. Reviews monthly subordinate unit readiness assessments within DRRS. Reviews unit inputs to ensure readiness assessments and supporting remarks are clear, concise, and explain the issue/shortfall and fix/mitigation. Contacts units if discrepancies are found and assists as necessary.
- Assists in preparing the wing and subordinate units for all inspections, assessments, and self-assessments as defined AFI 90-201, The Air Force Inspection System.
- Assists the MAJCOM FAM and UAs in determining the applicable Named Operations and Top Priority Plans to be loaded in DRRS, as well as determining the Core METs applicable to the Named Operations and Top Priority Plans to ensure consistency across reporting units under their purview.
- Prepares monthly readiness briefing providing status for wing/CC review. Ensures it includes, at a minimum, Resource and Capability Readiness Assessments. Additionally, if required, prepares wing-level Capability Readiness Assessments and submits for wing/CC review/approval.
- Schedules and conducts Air Force Reporting Tool (ART) training with all newly assigned ART monitors and ART approvers.
- Coordinates with ACC FAM to update DOC statements, Unit Type Codes, Mission Essential Task, Named Operations, Top Priority Plans, and Mission Essential Task List commensurate with the wing/CC and unit commander direction.
