Nightwing is seeking a Special Access Control Officer to support a government client in Herndon, VA. The successful candidate will implement policy and regulations governing Restricted Data management in accordance with Atomic Energy Act 1954, and other applicable federal regulations, including providing information support services to protect critical intelligence information. This includes functioning as a control officer for materials from external agencies.

Nightwing is seeking a Special Access Control Officer to support a government client in Herndon, VA. This includes functioning as a control officer for materials from external agencies.
Duties Include:
- Monitors the appropriate database(s) to receive requests, and routes/reviews/processes requests in a timely manner in accordance with program standards
- Enters requests into sponsor or IC systems/databases for coordination and final approval
- Provides guidance pertaining to the request and approval process and periodic updates pertaining to the status of existing requests
- Provides support to the sponsor as needed for other tasks regarding the program
- Compiles, collates, and organizes data when directed to by staff. Data may be presented in a spreadsheet or binder form depending on the needs of the staff.
- Provides briefings and cross-training to customers prior to granting special accesses
Mandatory Skills:
- Knowledge of our Sponsor and/or IC-related Access Systems and Databases (i.e. GSBUBs, GEOCAPs, etc.)
- Great Multi-tasker & Organizer/Scheduler
- Detailed-oriented and who can effectively manage competing priorities
- Great customer service skills and be able to work in a high-pressure environment with strict deadlines under minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and customers
- Strong briefing and cross-training skills
- Knowledge of MicroSoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution plus at least four (4) years professional IC work experience
- Candidate resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position mentioned above.
- TS/SCI with Poly which is transferable to this program and customer, day 1.
