PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Analyst 2 to support invoicing processes and collaborate with supplier finance teams to ensure timely and accurate payments. This role is critical in maintaining compliance, financial accuracy, and strong supplier relationships. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable analyzing financial data, and skilled in cross-functional communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit invoices for accuracy and compliance.
- Reconcile payments and conduct open statement analysis.
- Partner with external supplier finance teams to ensure timely invoicing.
- Maintain and manage the invoice log for accurate tracking.
- Manage a comprehensive database of invoice data and produce reports for various stakeholders.
- Work with internal stakeholders to resolve contractual discrepancies.
- Apply analytical approaches to daily operational tasks.
- Identify and recommend improvements for invoicing process efficiency.
- Strong data analysis capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formula use.
- Clear and professional written communication skills.
- Some accounting knowledge or experience preferred.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required
- Prior experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable.
- Hands-on invoicing experience with an understanding of invoicing standards.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Education/experience typically acquired through:
- A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of related experience, or
- A Master's degree and 1+ year of related experience, or
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree.
