Engineering Team Lead

Description

We are seeking an Engineering Team Lead with a strong background in technical leadership and product development. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on engineering expertise with the ability to guide and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated success leading complex engineering initiatives from early concept through development, validation, and production. This role requires strong collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and program management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and support to drive high-quality engineering outcomes.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee engineering projects from concept through design, prototyping, testing, and production readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, program management, and operations to ensure successful product development and delivery.
• Establish engineering priorities, allocate resources, and track progress to ensure milestones and project objectives are met.
• Review and approve technical designs, documentation, and analysis to ensure solutions meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and development practices.
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project schedules and product quality.
• Provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of progress, challenges, and resource needs.
